    Thanks!

Which book would you recommend for an online micro stakes player, if any?

Thinking of getting the book on hand reading as it seems to be the most universally applicable

Playing the player, is my favorite Miller book, but his hand reading book was also very good (i'm currently going over my notes on it and rereading it). But both are geared towards live poker...no hud stats are used just player descriptions.

I've commented on some of your post. I think Ed has a good solid foundation for beginners, but i find this forum to be much more educational than some of his books. I don't know if you will gain much from his books. Online base I think Janda would be best.

Two books i would recommend that i seen a lot of people improve their games on, but haven't read or bought them myself are split suits and Jandas.

As long as you keep working out ranges, playing around with bet sizing, and different lines your game will keep improving.

Don't buy them if your not willing to put in the work though because its not a simple read through. Pretty advance material to beat today's games.

Small Stakes No Limit Holdem is part of a kind of interesting history. There is Professional No Limit Holdem, Vol. 1 published through 2+2. We can just imagine the shenanigans going on at the time with Malmuth etc. SSNLH turned out being what was originally supposed to be PNLH Vol. 2, but it ended up being published not through 2+2, and being geared toward online play rather than part 2 of the original.

Reading Pnlh made me earn tons of money. Being aware of notions like spr was enough to destroy most of the live cash games at my local casino.

His books are really good. I read most of them. Just be aware he plays in LV where the games and styles are different. Each part of the country has their own twist on the game. Even within the area different casinos have their own twists.

In S.E. Florida the Hard Rock plays fairly standard and what you would expect.
You go down to Miami and it's a monkey shit fight at the zoo with the latin players.
You go to Pompano and you have a barrage of tricky trappy old men.

Each style of game requires adjustments.

So you need to take his information and adjust it for your game.

i believe all ED's ebooks come in pdf and epub. Just send Ed an email after you down load and ed will send you the other format (as I remember by default he sends you the PDF)...
