Beating limpers in a low stakes MTT

I recently played in a low stakes MTT at a local casino. The table I was at was incredibly lose and a lot of flops were limped and seen by 4+ players. Early in the tournament I tried to be more aggressive, and increased my preflop raise range when there were a few limpers in front of me. Even then, I would get called by more people than I expected and at that point would often be at a range disadvantage . Looking back, my preflop raises were probably too small, usually around 5BB or so. How do you play against players like this in terms of a preflop strategy (ranges and bet sizing) and putting opponents like these on ranges? If there is already a thread on this could someone point me in its direction? Thanks!

    My plan would be this:

    1. Play as many pots as I can in position with strong range and make my iso raises much bigger! I would Iso raise with Suited Aces (not all of them and all the time, also depending on starting stack) AJ+ QJs+ Something like that, maybe I would throw couple suited connectors depending how it all working out for me.

    2. Avoid playing kind of OK hands from early positions like (KTo,KJo,OJo) Just be tight from Early positions and save your chips for positions like HJ, CO & BTN so you can iso raise big and go heads up

    3. Adjust accordingly to the situation, test out water a little bit with bigger sizing and bigger cbets.

    Hope that helps!

Early in tournaments, especially before antes come into play, you should be looking to protect your chip stack by playing a very tight range since the pots you tend to win are small and not that meaningful compared to later in the tournament. If your a pro member @Doug Hull has a couple of videos you should watch "Bink the tiny MTT" and "How to crush WSOP STTs" this is part of the tournament crash course.
