Global Poker Rake Weird?

I'm trying to understand the rake here. Game is $0.25/$0.50
Hero Raises to $1.75
Everybody folds.
Pot is $2.50
GP says Hero wins $1.25

That means Hero paid $0.50 and won nothing?

Another hand
Hero raises to $1.50 from SB
everybody folds
Pot is $2.00
Hero takes down $1.00
Again, hero pays $0.50

When I check player balances this seems like I am doing the math right. What is going on here?

I did this again but raised only $1.
    Blinds folded.
    Pot is $1.75
    Hero takes down $1.25

That's a $0.25 win and $0.50 rake. So raising $1.50 or more causes you to pay money if you win.

Try this formula next time you steal blinds:

(Stack after hand ends)-(stack before hand starts)

    $0.10/$0.20
    Before hand starts: $17.75
    After hand ends: $17.55

    difference : -$0.20

The replays are wrong somehow. I think you get the correct money.

They're just using bad language. Seems like they take the call amount from your raise. You "win" whatever is extra above the call amount. Which of course is wrong but that seems their logic.
