Nice hand to share on the beautiful Friday.

$1/$3 Live

Had a hard out at 6pm. It was 5:57pm. Last hand of my session last night.

Pocket 9s. Raise to $13 UTG.

2 callers.

Flop:
QQ9

Hero checks.

UTG+1 - Bets $30

UTG+2 - Raises $90

I push all in for $215.

Both V1 & V2 had a queen.

Nice triple up before I had to leave.

Nothing better than a hand playing its self.

Have a great weekend!

Well your short stacked so I don't mind how you played it I guess.
But as a general thought, your often firing a board like this so betting here makes more sense. If your checking boards likes this with monsters your capping your range when you cbet.
You have a monster, you want stacks in (well here you have small enough stacks you can do it on the turn and river) but in general start building your pots on the flop.

Hands like JT are calling your flop bet....often any pair is calling your flop bet....and of course all Queens are calling you...but many turn cards will give them 3rd pair type thing and that may mean you don't even get one street of value. So unless you think your villains are likely to bluff/ semi bluff, checking here may not be the best EV plan.
