River blunder?

6max 5nl (my first hand post so not really sure if this will look right etc)
Villian in BB is unk at only 19 hands
folds to Hero in SB with :Js :Jd --> bets 2.5bb, V in BBcalls
pot 5bb
flop :Kd :3d :Ts
Hero bets 2.5bb V calls
pot 10bb
turn :2s
Hero bets 6bb V calls
pot 21bb
riv :Qd
BOARD IS NOW: :Kd :3d :Ts :2s :Qd
I tank for bit and check. (I probably should have made a 1/3-1/2 riv bet and folded to a raise)
V bets 13bb and I folded after thinking, my JJ blocks some made straights and I have a good diamond blocker. I think V would have checked a 2p or less for SD. I've not gone into the whole
range analysis but I think I made a bad fold due to V having either the nuts or enough bluffs to call only needing 26% equity.

I would size preflop to 4bb as you will be oop postflop. Not sure why your giving the BB a good price. There is another play of limping your entire range in SB. I don't really like this in raked games though, maybe only against very aggro players who 3 bet attempt to steal is very high.

Postflop depends on the player. Some times ill take a check-bet-check line on this run out. Other times ill do as you did and bet-bet-check. Charging draws and Tx for value. Some times you run into Kx, but I think it's still a good value bet vs loose players.

This looks perfect for range analysis.

You should do this for every hand

Let's say V is playing straight forward. KT, 33 and the occassional 22 would have raised flop or turn, so lets discount those combos for simplicity. AK,AA,TT,QQ probably 3bet preflop. The question is how many KX are in his range? All KXs? How many KXo? When he called with AQ,QJ,Q9 are those hands betting the river? (I dont think so.)
How many flushes can V have? How many straights?
I personally would have checked either flop or turn so I dont know how to proceed here. What about overbetting river? What about check/raising R?
