AK Line/ Bet sizing

Looking for thoughts on lines/ bet sizing. Should I be trying to get stacks in on a hand like this earlier? Stacks at the river were so small was bound to go in but I think my turn bet could maybe have been bigger?

How nervous should one be with 3 to a flush and 4 to a straight om the board?

Another example but with aces.. is this flop/ turn a spot for an overbet for protection? Started to get real connected and wet.

In the first example I would have 3bet much bigger. You are out of position and would prefer to just take it down. With a couple limps and a button raise, I am making it 4.5x to go at least so raise to 18 or 20 preflop. As played the turn is either check planning to xr jam or just jam. Any bet you make will leave UTG with less than pot on river so get it in now

I can agree with that. Ended up losing to 44 (caught the straight) but played as you noted *maybe dude would have folded.
