Breaking an old habit

I have discovered a massive leak in my game. With this leak I will never be able to move up in stakes. When I find my self in the same situation that I KNOW is an exploit of my leak, I have a habit of doubting myself, and spewing tons of money.

Essentially, when on the river, when I am holding a strong hand, I am unable to fold to almost any bet. Thin value bets, pot size, over pot size jams, I cannot fold my dominated hands. For instance, 3rd nut hands when the population is only jamming the nuts, over pairs when villain would only be doing so with sets.

When you discover a leak in your game, what do you do to go about plugging that leak?

The difficult part is identifying the leak. In this case, you've found it, so stop paying off big river bets.

All poker equities are relational. You are attached to your hands because you think the game happens with colors and shapes, when in fact the game is only of any interest at all because it happens in the mind.
