It's hard to know exactly what line to take without stack sizes, but in my experience, the limp overcall is usually a sign of decent suited broadway he didn't want to open with UTG or possibly even 88-JJ they didn't want to raise for some reason. Then there's also the outside chance that they limped KK or AA, planning to re-pop, but didn't want to turn their hand face up when you 3bet. I also often see people limp AK/AQ utg. His line would make sense if he did that too.

Long story short, that flop hit his range HARD, and even though you did flop a gutterball with two overs, I think a check is a good option if you aren't planning to barrel it down.

After you check the turn, what other option do you have but to fold? I'm not saying you couldn't have won this hand taking a different line, but if I were you, I'd be pretty confident that I was folding 2nd best.

Can it be considered a tank if V called within 5 seconds?

Will villain fold more than 33% to a 1/2 pot sized bet?
