Remember Other Players' Tendencies

Hey guys. I have a question that isn't related to a particular hand but about general poker strategy.

How does one keep track of other player's tendencies and statistics such as VPIP, PFR, folding to 3-bets, folding to c-bets, etc without using any HUDs (I don't want to use HUDs since I want my online poker skills to be transferable to live poker). I try to do this all in my head but it's really easy for me to forget it all or overload my brain with too many player profiles. Is there a simple way to keep track of all of the information? How do you guys remember everything that's needed to play solid poker?

I never found a solution to this, which is no doubt why I was only ever a mediocre online player but have managed to consistently beat live poker. We evolved to remember faces, not usernames.

Fwiw though, while you can undoubtedly transfer knowledge from the virtual felt to the live felt, they're VERY different games, as demonstrated by the fact that good players can beat live poker for upwards of 40+BB/100.

I'm convinced being able to accurately profile opponents in live play is a seriously underestimated skill. Here are some of our free resources on the topic:
