Getting blasted on 2+2

So I recently started posting on 2+2 and been offering hand analysis answers mostly in the micros. A lot is stuff I picked up in CORE and it seems pretty solid to me according to what I learned but nearly everyone has something to say and it usually isn’t positive.

An example was someone 3 betting KJs from the BB. The rest of the hand is irrelevant (actually would bet my life he got bluffed on the river but won’t go in to it on here...and that was wrong too according to 2+2).

So anyway guy 3 bets KJs and I’m calling it a bad move because it’s against the CO and and his RFI numbers are a little loose but not crazy, no steal stats given and I said that would be relevant and KJ OOP can have negative implied odds Yada yada yada.

Seems like everyone there just blasts anyone that doesn’t agree with them or looks at things differently than they do and can not possibly be a good poker player otherwise.

Anyone else have that experience there?

Yeah, that's why I hate posting on 2+2. It is very cliq(y). If you don't agree with the standard reg "card" strategy they play, the will start trolling you or ridicule you.

Funny thing is I demolish the micros. It’s like taking candy from a baby honestly on the site I play on. I posted my current win rate and they said it was a heater. Lol. It very well could be but they just refuse to give anyone credit if they aren’t a carbon copy PIOSolver GTO loving player like them. I think I’m done posting there. It’s pretty aggravating arguing with a know it all.

If your interest in participating in a poker forum is to get better at poker, the Red Chip Poker forum makes 2+2 obsolete.

This is why I gleefully ban anyone that is trolling, being a jerk, or any other anti-social behaviour (like making fun of British spellings that @TheGameKat might use.)

I posted on another forum about the "Cult of Solvers" mindset they have going on there. They treat the answers that the solvers provide as a religion. Which is great if you are playing against a table of bots, but the last time I checked, we are playing against a table of humans.

I wonder how you solve for " I have to call. It's my favourite hand!" ?

If it’s 69s then it’s a clear call. Raise from UTG.

I wouldn't have wrote about this but since I just saw this thread:

    - 2p2 is filled with the most heavy handed moderators you will find anywhere on the internet, unless you're a long time poster there and they know you in which case you can literally say or do whatever you want.

    - The quality of content and discussions on 2p2 has drastically gone downhill over the last few years. Posting hand histories there for discussion really makes no sense with sites like RCP and RIO having great forums.

    - It's like the same 15-20 people left posting everything poker related over there since they have banned just countless people over the years. They used to have an infraction point system in place and it was almost impossible to be banned without really causing problems. Now? Say literally one word a mod or it's friend doesn't like and you're gone. I mean, within a minute or two.

    - They have banned me at least 50-100 times. I'm not kidding. They've discussed it openly. They also are well aware of me coming back with a new username whenever I feel like it and there are just a ton of other people in the same position as me. As a result, you'll see the regulars and then a slew of posters with low post counts. It killed the forum's quality and quantity over time and makes the place a laughing stock since the bans mean nothing in the end.

    - 2p2 moderators and different network affiliates are in bed together and operate together as business partners. 2p2 directs traffic to specific sites and information controls the threads that pertain to them. For example - If you ask about why Ignition doesn't have a licensed RNG, you're banned and the post is removed immediately. If you ask about bots on BetOnline, you're confronted by the same 2 or 3 people immediately and usually banned within minutes. Posts deleted. I could list endless examples of this.

I could post more but I think that's sufficient for now. Basically, just avoid and blackball 2p2 at this point. There was a time when they got away with this stuff because they were a main hub. They're not anymore.
