Hero SPR on Flop: [2.41 effective]

My thoughts:
v who 3bet is a nit, and his raise range is so tight that his 3bet range should be kk+/ak
now on his 3 bet i know i m behind and i have to hit a set.
Now odds of hitting a set is 8.5 to 1. so i need win about 1.36 from villian if i do hit the set.
Assuming his range this should be possible.
also i have a player left to act, if he comes along, that might be a sweeetner.
M i correct with this thought process??? Will such calls be profitable Long term???

See, you and Lagtard are doing the same thing: Terribly complicating matters for yourselves. You're clearly studying, learning, but right - it just doesn't work out. You can't play like you see guys playing in videos @50NL and @200NL, @2NL. Especially not when you're bankroll building.

You stick to ranges. @2NL - Put 88 in your IP 3B range vs pretty much everyone and on the flop you either hit your set and get their stack (size it so they basically have one option on the flop which is GII or not go any further with the hand) or miss your set and can give nice 33-125% bluffs to win the pot. If you know you're way behind his range, he has more nuts, and he WON'T FOLD to a bluff (even if you think he should) you just get away from the hand when you need to. That's it. You can build your bankroll @2NL on nothing else.

*edit* Think practically, too. Not about how you're theoretically supposed to play the hand. Pick out your objective and then do whatever it takes vs that villain to accomplish it. If theory says "58% pot size bluff here", that doesn't mean some guy online is going to fold to that size just because he should. Make your bluffs look just like your big hands and you will clean guys up. Just when you *know you're beat* - fold. It becomes a great habit.
