Blind Challenge

After listening to one of the recent RedChip Podcasts, I attempted the Blind Challenge - playing without looking at my hole cards. The idea sounded super fun to me, and it was! I recorded myself playing this session and you can see it at the following link:

The Blind Challenge

In the video I talk through my thought processes, assumptions, and decisions. Any feedback or questions are welcome. I'd also be interested in seeing anyone else's attempt at the blind challenge!

Some timestamps of interesting spots and hands:
21:20 - OOP CBet
23:55 - Squeeze spot vs short stack
32:50 - Squeeze on button
42:10 - Check Raise from BB (commentary continues on next couple hands)
45:25 - IMO, most interesting hand. Flop raise and turn shove when draw completes.

Has anyone else attempted this? How did it go?

After watching Annette do her famous version of this I tried it in a tournament. Loads of fun. Her result was more impressive than mine, however.

Thanks for sharing this. I encourage everyone to check it out, it's both entertaining and educational.

I was also partly inspired by Annette Obrestad's legendary tournament takedown playing blind. If anyone doesn't know who she is, here's a clip of her stacking Phil Hellmuth.
