There is a player at the casino where I play, Harrahs new Orleans. Though he is not hyper aggressive he always raises preflop. His range seems to be pairs+, suited connectors, A9s+, and other strong holdings. An deep range of hands. He can do this because he will buy in 1500-2000 in a 1/3 game. The most I can buy in for is 700, and Ussually 500. He has no problem putting anyone all in. I've seen this man move all in with 2 pairs. How do I play against this opponent? I know wait for strong holdings and position, but then you miss the flop and he either makes a large bet or puts you all in. It's berry frustrating. My only stratergy so far is to move to a different table. However, if I'm going to improve at poker I have to be able to beat these villains, not just run away.
