SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has :Jh :Kc

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop : (6 BB, 2 players) :4c :Td :Qh
SB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, SB calls 3 BB

Turn : (12 BB, 2 players) :8d
SB checks, Hero bets 8 BB, SB calls 8 BB

River : (28 BB, 2 players) :4d
SB checks, Hero bets 20 BB

Flop: When villain checks to me on the flop I think he is very capped and has a hand with some showdown value. I decide to bet with my open ender because I feel like I could get a lot of folds from smaller pocket pairs here and could put his Tx and draws like 98 or K9 that he didn't bet with in tough spots on later streets.

Turn: I don't think this turn improves villain much unless he has specifically T8 or J9. I think he may fold some Tx to this bet and will fold his gutshots like K9 to a second barrel.

River: The river brings in backdoor diamonds but otherwise is a blank. I think villain is capped here to mostly Tx and possibly weak Qx like Q7s here at best. I have no showdown value with K high and I also block J9 with my hand. I don't have a diamond blocker in my hand but is my holding still optimal to turn into a bluff on this runout? I could have 44, QTo, Q8s and J9 while villain can't really have any of these after he checks back flop and flats turn.

Any comments or feedback on my thought process or sizings would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Ill take a shot even though i feel like a play not so great blind v blind. I would 3b this pre since most players open super wide here. We have position and our hand plays well HU with lower spr.

I agree with your thought process here seems like v has TJ or JJ 99. hero shouldnt have many natural bluffs on this run out and doesnt seem like we have sd value either. I like sizing bc either v has one of hands above or floated flop with Ax diamonds?

@March422 Thanks for your feedback. I briefly thought about 3betting pre but I usually don't 3bet these off suit broadway combos from other positions too often so I didn't here I guess out of habit. This is a reminder that I should work on developing a blind v blind strategy for spots like this.

In game and after reviewing the hand I also agree that he is capped to a one pair hand like JT or JJ. I think this is a combo that works well as a triple barrel b/c of its blockers and I would also take this line with my two pair and straight combos as well.

I think 3-betting KJo here against what looks to be a reg is unnecessary as a default. Typically we will be behind against villain's calling range as he doesn't have positional advantage. Totally on board with just calling here.
