Hi all,

I've been playing poker for 15 years and have been at times a keen recreational player, but I've never put in the practice or hours at the tables to become a proven winner , even at the micro-stakes.

After 19th April, I'm free to be able to put more time into poker. I have just a £200/$258 bankroll to begin with, and about 10 years of rust to scrape off my game. This is why I've joined RCP's CORE programme, to learn the fundamentals.

I've some dreams, some long-term goals and some short-term goals for the month.

- Be able to pay tuition fees for education through my poker winnings.

Long-Term Goals

- Make enough money from poker to be able to take my girlfriend out to New Zealand for the 2021 Women's Rugby World Cup (18 September 2021 - 16 October 2021)

Short-Term Goals - First Three Months

- Play 10,000 hands a month in cash games
- Learn 1-2 lessons a day from the RCP Core Programme

This is it for now. Starting at April I've got plenty of time to learn what I can, play a little poker in my spare time to practice and refine what else I need to do (buy-ins, format of poker I'll focus on, the software I'll need etc) and I'll have plenty of questions to ask you all.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to getting to know you all more.
