50NL 6-max.
Opponents unknown.
100 BB effective.
UTG opens for 2 BB.
CO calls 2 BB.
Button raises to 9.5 BB with AcKc.
UTG and CO call.
Flop (30 BB) AhQh9c. Checks to Button. I am curious to see what bet sizes you would consider in this spot.

Ive recently been sizing up to 80% pot in this spot. you get max value from any Ax that they wont fold on the flop. It thins down any Villans calling range to make it easy to read. Or also betting 30% pot to keep them in wider, then 80%+ on the turn to extract the value, depending on the turn card.

In a 3-bet pot I'd default to 50%, but can see sizing up against sticky opponents.

Although Villains were unkown didnt you have any idea how they were playing? if they were calling 3bet often? folding alot to cbets? etc..

Well by default in 3bet pots ranges are more limited, value is dificult to extract unless Villain does have something, so i woud bet around 30-40%.

In this static board some wet, there isnt so many draws, made hands to get value from i would say AJ, ATs, KQ, QJs, ( probably JJ).

    - why not checking Flop?
