If I haven't played for a few days and I'm getting ready to multi-table MTTs, I play a handful of those ridiculous spin-n-goes first.
The idea is that, having been out of action for a bit, there's a danger I'm going to play too loose when I start the MTT grind. The spin-n-goes seem to purge that tendency.
I quick read notes from session before, noting issues I had, and things I did well. I think about a concept or two that I want to work on during the session and spend extra energy on that.
Listening to relaxing music before a session also helps along with re-reading my list of general rules / principles to help me get into the right mindset. I also set boundaries for the session such as stop loss and criteria for leaving the poker session such as a predermined time, number of hands, or change in mental focus (read tilt)
