LAG Style

I've been studying like crazy off of three sites including this one and the RCP podcast is what I listen to in the car instead of music now. I listened to two of the podcasts about playing LAG style last night and how to gradually keep upping your aggression and pushing until they start adjusting and making it not automatically profitable for you to play against them anymore. Since then, I've played only two quick sessions in my 10z pool but I'm running at 25/22/16 over 301 hands, with an AF of 4 lol. My preflop positional awareness is 11.16, which is ridiculous, of course. My C Won = $8.73 for 29 bb/100.

I got a couple of really nice payouts where I just would not have even two sessions prior to now. I did spend about five hours of studying overall after listening to the podcasts last night so it's not entirely them but they've opened up the door to the next level of play for me.

And now this one is going to obviously drive v nuts. I offered to run it twice but he declined:

Now, of course I'm getting into other postflop spots, including larger 3b pots on the turn and river, with all sorts of combos I never would have before. Prior to relatively recently (as long as I've been playing) I just could not find the fold button often enough to play the game at a high enough level. That has progressed and improved tremendously over the past few weeks alone and it's now enabling me to adapt a more modern, aggressive style of play. Just to get an overall feel of things as I ramp things up and open my game a bit more - I've looked at my PT4 db during the session after a few seemingly "big" pots I had to give up in and I couldn't believe how little I was actually down. Then, boom, boom I hit a couple of hands and I'm up half a stack + out of nowhere.

I know some of you out there remember me going back as far as a few years and I have to admit that I never thought I'd actually be able to progress mentally to the point where my ability even could progress this much. I can't believe I couldn't beat 2nl on WPN for so long and now I just destroy 10z there and higher stake reg tables elsewhere.

I will most certainly be around and I look forward to talking with other grinders who are working away at this full time...which I am currently.
