A spot that got me very confused. K2 offsuit in BB

This spot really confused me as I am not used to playing K2 offsuit out of position.

$0.05/0.10 - 9 handed on pokerstars. First hand I was dealt in BB was Kh 2s.

UTG1 limped in, and it folded the whole way round to me. I Checked. $0.25 in pot

Flop: Kd 8h 3S

Villan bet $0.10, I call with Top Pair, pot $0.45

Turn: 6 c

Villan bet $0.20. I call again. Pot $0.85

River 2 h

Villan bet $0.70. I fold

I was really lost, and although it was an extremely low value, and rare spot to be in, this has been playing on my mind for a few weeks now. Any feedback would be appreciated.

When someone limps its important to think about what part of their range they are limping. If v is limping hands like K5s+ and K9o+ which is probably what they are doing then you can't fold two pair. In this type of hand v has a slight range advantage but not much. V has more sets but I'm assuming you'd raise 88 and 33 and definitely KK. In this hand I'd be considering a raise on the river because all his Kx not two pair hands have to call. Yes sometimes your losing to K8 or a set but you are close to the top of your range and that's when you want to get money in.
