Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Jh Js
fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.4 BB, fold, BB raises to 13.2 BB, Hero calls 10.8 BB

Flop : (26.8 BB, 2 players) Ks Qh Th
BB bets 8.4 BB, Hero calls 8.4 BB

Turn : (43.6 BB, 2 players) Jc
BB bets 13.8 BB, Hero calls 13.8 BB

River : (71.2 BB, 2 players) 6d
BB bets 22.6 BB, Hero calls 22.6 BB

BB shows Tc Ad (Straight, Ace High)
(Pre 29%, Flop 16%, Turn 76%)

Hero mucks Jh Js (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
(Pre 71%, Flop 84%, Turn 24%)

BB wins 111.6 BB

Preflop:
-We open on the button and villain 3 bets.
-His 3 bet stat is 27% so we can assume BB vs BTN he will have a wide range in this spot

His 3 bet range:

AA-22,AKo-ATo,KQo-KTo,QJo-QTo,JTo,AKs-A2s,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs,T9s

our equity against this range= 65%

the pot odds we are offered at this point = 40% or 1.5:1

so the preflop call is profitable

PREFLOP THERE ARE NO NOTICABLE MISTAKES

FLOP

Kh Qh Ts

Villain bets 30% pot

POT ODDS OFFERED = 4:1 OR 20% EQUITY REQUIRED

VILLAINS BETTING RANGE ON THIS FLOP :
AA-TT,AKo-ATo,KQo-KTo,QJo-QTo,JTo,AKs-A2s,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs

OUR EQUITY AGAINST THIS BETTING RANGE IS = 50%

THEREFORE WE CAN CALL PROFITABLY ON THIS FLOP

THERE IS NO REASON TO RAISE ON THIS FLOP AS WE WILL ONLY FOLD OUT WORSE HANDS AT THIS POINT SO I LIKE
THE CALL.

TURN
Jc

VILLAIN LEADS AGAIN FOR ROUGHLY 30% AGAIN GIVING US 4:1 ON A CALL 20% EQUITY REQUIRED

IF WE ASSUME THAT HE ONLY BETS HIS STRAIGHTS AND SETS AT THIS POINT THEN WE HAVE 26% EQUITY

SO THE CALL ON THE TURN IS STILL PROFITABLE AND THERE IS NO REASON TO RAISE

I THINK THE FLOP IS PLAYED WELL IN RESPECT OF VILLAINS RANGE.

RIVER:

6d

RIVER BEING A BRICK AND WE DO NOT IMPROVE TO A FULL HOUSE

VILLAINS RANGE ON THE RIVER IS STILL SETS AND STRAIGHTS LEAVING US WITH 3% EQUITY AGAINST THIS RANGE

THEREFORE WE SHOULD HAVE JUST FOLDED THE RIVER AS THERE IS ALMOST NOTHING THAT WE BEAT.

I DECIDE TO CALL WITH WAS A VERY BIG MISTAKE

WOULD YOU AGREE WITH THIS THOUGHT PROCESS??

Could you turn off CAPS please, makes this a little hard on the eyes.

I'm not sure where this idea originated of using pre-river pot odds as a guide to whether one can call a bet or not, but it's mostly a bad idea. Further, preflop we don't just have the option to call, we can also 4-bet. You don't tell us how many hands you have on V to get that 3b%, but if its significant and averaged over all positions, their 3b% here may be extremely wide. A 4-bet with JJ is probably the default anyway, and becomes more attractive against an aggressive player.

    Flop call is natural.

Turn facing a small bet and with the full house draws I think call is fine.

    Fold river.
