010 - Playing Perfect Poker

Hey James,

I had to say I related to this a TON. I've had perfectionist problems ever since my teens and they are still not completely resolved. I even bought a book on OCD because I felt like it was such a huge problem. I still struggle it from day to day but I hope to keep climbing that mountain towards getting better and better at it each day.

Just hearing you share your own experience was very helpful. I've done many crazy things. I remember re-buying a history workbook I had because the original one I bought had a crease in it.

    Glad you liked it! I think there are a lot of people in this community who strive for perfection and don't accept anything short of it. Which is a decent trait to have...but it can easily create more roadblocks than opportunities in this game.

    I've done a LOT of crazy shit, but it's also a good trait to have as long as I harness it properly.
