Where to play online as a US player

Hi, maybe this has been discussed, but I didn't find it in the archives.

As a US player, where do you play online? Which site(s) are the best?

I've been playing on Betcoin Poker for a year, its a bitcoin site, but the traffic is very light. There are almost no SNGs going, never any PLO, basically it a few NLHE games of various blind levels.

I'd like a site that (in rough priority order):

asdf
1) REAL MONEY - for US players
2) Has most forms of poker going - at lots of different blind levels - specifically I'd like to start learning to play PLO
3) Has some NLHE sngs
4) Doesn't rape you on the deposits (since I never get to make withdrawals :)
5) Accepts and pays out in bitcoin
6) works with poker tracker or some other HUD

We should all start playing on Betcoin :)

I get coolered from time to time, but I also do my share the coolering and suckouts online. When you run bad - its really bad online (it seems)

I used to use SWC but I found Betcoin had better action.

ACR seems interesting considering they take deposits and issue withdraws in BTC. I'm a bit of a rules nit, so I get antsy playing online. (But with the nearest casino 100 miles away, it's a bit of a must.)

Hey you guys playing on SWC, how is the traffic there? I considered this site a long time ago but traffic kind of turned me away back then.

I thought SwC closed down. I was playing there when it closed last year. It looks like it might be back up, but I know their founder was convicted of a felony.

I guess they are back up now. I'll have to try it

How long have you been playing there? My biggest issue was having thousands stuck online and losing my BR on UB.

I specialize in 6 max NLHE and HU PLO online.

I see they use BTC. How fast can you withdraw? Does the site have good traffic?

    Thanks

They have a promo they call "krill" which basically gets you into freeroll MTT's the more you have.

Haven't played there in a good while though. Played a lot on the old site before it shut down. The pool is almost nothing though.

Full Flush Poker is another one but I wouldn't recommend it. Glacial and sketchy withdrawal with huge fees.

Another tidbit: Bovada does not allow New York players.

I just put out big, detailed guide yesterday on the best places to play, discussing among other things sites good for beginners as well as possible bonus-hunting paths for people looking specifically to grow a small bankroll.

Ultimate Guide to the Best Poker Sites of 2016

The coverage on the U.S. side is light, but we'll be putting out a version 2.0. I'm sure we'll include BCP/ACR in the next version. I think including info on who takes Bitcoin is a great idea.

I'm a big fan of the coin. The only reason I started playing on BCP was because they took BTC. Of course the competition at BCP is WAY tougher than Bovada.

The founder, Bryan Micon, was raided at gunpoint and robbed by police as ordered by the Nevada Gambling Commission. He was accused of operating a gaming site without a license, even though bitcoin is not formally classified as currency. Long story short, the casino moguls were threatened by his business and wielded their power and financial status to torture this guy. A few days before the raid, the site had some technical issues. He did not think they were connected, but I have my suspicions. Despite all of this, each and every piece of bitcoin remained untouched and everyone was paid out. Now that it's back up again, I enjoy playing on it from time to time, knowing my bitcoins are safe. Hopefully the traffic eventually grows, I can see it has a lot of potential.
