unsure about fold

I played a live casino 1 -3 hand the other day i was in hi jack position with kqoff with 150 bbs it was limped by utg +1 i decided to iso raise and was called by button and original limper. fairly weak passive typical casino game had not seen button player do anything aggressive as till now.
Flop comes k 8 4 rainbow utg+1 checks i c bet 75% pot and button player min raises he had roughly around 40 bbs left after min raising, utg+1 player folds and i tanked for a minute and weakishly decided to fold, it was a bit weak of me but i just couldn't think of a hand here he would min raise for value that i beat, there isn't many hands i loose to given hes range, but given hes stack size i would have been playing for effectively the remainder of hes 40bbs if i had called.
I assume he either had a stronger hand then i did eg: ak, set or kq same as me, or was min raising to see where he was at with a weaker hand like kj or k10 or maybe worse so i decided to fold purely because i didnt want to stack off hes effective stack in this spot but it did bother me, does anyone think i was being to weak tight here? and what would you have done different?

One thing to consider: if you are folding KQ here, are you bet/folding far too often?

He's an unknown with a short stack and the board is bone draw with pretty much no 2pr potential. Get it in and take a note if he shows up with AK - and take a note the times he shows up with KJ.

thanks for the advise splitsuit, i just couldnt see why he would min raise in that spot if he had a hand that i could beat given hes stack size i figured worse hands would have raised more eg: kj ect but i agree with you getting it in was probly the better play given pot odds and stack size, i think it was a situation were i was either far ahead or far behind
