App for live player profiling.

Is there an App available to help you profile players, helping you to build hand ranges and style types when sitting down at a new table? Notes on my iphone is not user friendly. :)

I prefer Jonathon Littles manual pen and paper method. Its easier and u can use the data to pick apart hands using software later. There is a video on it somewhere.

You could use donktracker for a few sessions to get start getting a feel for it.

Here is an app I would buy.

Let me take a picture (also just asign a photo too).
Let me associate a few keywords to the picture so I can search for it (hair color, casino, limit, age, gender, etc). Also I want to just mugshot it.

On the "Back" let me just write notes on it.

I cannot program but I would buy that app.

I agree with JCW. This would be an excellent APP. My casino has a ton of regs. If I could create profile for a player "short stack mike" and have the APP show hands he played in position that I seen.. Maybe he limps 22-77 EP or I can make notes on his bet sizing. This would be huge step! Especially if you pick up a live read on someone but they only play once a month or something.

Questions: Do you think a good game involves people taking notes on and photos of each other? Where do you think that leads? Do you think if a whale happens to see "Donktracker" flash on someone's gizmo that it's good for the game? Do you think DGAF takes a scribble everytime Short Stack Mike shows down? Who do all these apps really serve?

When you play poker seriously, you are bad for the game. When you come onto these forums, you are bad for the game. If you are a winning player, then you are bad for the game. And using this app would be bad for the game.

So like a company that plants a tree when the cut down a tree, look for ways to be good for a game.

I would feel super uncomfortable taking photos of people at the table - and even more uncomfortable if somebody was taking pics of me (no matter how sneaky/sly you are - you can't take 9 pics without at least somebody noticing)

Poker Agent. Not sure if it is available for iphone but it is great on Android. Notes, ranges, photos. More features than I can use. Also the photo feature is great b/c you dont have to point it at anyone, it snaps a photo like every 1/2 second for 5 seconds when in photo mode. I've never had anyone "catch" me.
