Saying hello.

How's everyone doing? My name is Trev. First time joining a poker forum, or any forum for that matter, due to jerks. I never wanted to sift through rudeness to try and find the constructive comments. I watch a lot of "Ask split suit a question" videos and he seems like a pretty down to earth and nice guy. It appears that this forum is run for the purpose of education and construction, which is what I'm looking for.

I'm a live player. I play at my local "social club". I play the lower limits of NLHE 1/2, 1/3, or 2/3.
I've been playing since 2008 and I'm trying to take the game serious now. I've never tried out forums or discussed hand histories that much before because I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of. If some people here could point me in the direction of where to start posting that'd be amazing.

"Social Club" ? Can you expand on what those games are like?

I absolutely can. It's a poker club. I say social club because it's not legal. This is where I primarily play. I play at a casino 90 minutes away but that's when I can get a ride up there.

The games at this poker club have all the player types. Old nits who play only the nuts, degenerates who will spew spew and spew, and a few sharks who know what they're doing.

Welcome to the forum Trev =)

When it comes to posting, just share all the information you can about the hand (position, stack sizes, exact bet sizes, etc.). You'll get better with posting over time, but to start just post a hand you have questions on. And also make sure to post your own opinions on other people's hands. When you give a lot, you get a lot from this forum =)
