Hi,

I'm Nicnameks. Nice to meet you. I don't know how much I'll post, but will prob at least lurk a lot. ChipXtractor's vlog brought me here. Plus, you already have some of my money. I bought the poker for math geeks book a while back.

About me. I'm a news producer by day job (TV News), and PT poker donk. I play the highest stakes my local casino runs about 15-20 hours a week (1/3 $300 cap, lol).

My favorite thing is to suck out on people. Just kidding, kind of not really tho.

    Thanks dudes.

Some BG. I've been playing since the Moneymaker boom. I was around 20 at the time. Mostly always just played nlhe. First at home games during college/ after I dropped out. I went to the area casino and dabbled in 4-8 limit and was terrible at it. (Played basically like I was in a nlh tournament. lol), Also played in some nlhe tournaments at said casino and did pretty decent.

The home games were my main source of poker for at least 10 years. I was always a winner in these.

Also played online micros for varying stretches. I was a decent winner on party poker. Then played sngs and stuff on UB and FT, successfully at first, then I bombed cuz of bad br management, etc. Picked up online cash on FT before BF and broke even/slight loser when BF hit. Joined Carbon Poker in 2012 and put in decent hours beating 2 nl, and 5 nl?? Broke even at 10nl and went busto playing too big tourneys and cash games when drunk. No biggie I was competitive rec player.

Live cash has always been my favorite. Always kinda thought about being a "pro."

I went back to college in 2013 and started playing home games and hitting up casinos again. Did well (can't prove) data is on an old phone.

Didn't play for 1.5 years or so because too busy w/ school, job, internships. Started back playing at my local casino 1/3 nl $300 last April after a trip to Vegas for a wedding. I had $650 cash to play with in Vegas. Made about $300 ducking in and out of rooms as me and my peeps perused the strip, etc.

Promptly went to casino when I got back home and donked off $600. Reigned in my game and adjusted to the player pool and started winning a bit. Started playing every other weekend, then every weekend and eventually 3-4 times a week. I've prob been running good, but have been a strong winner (10bb) over LOL sample size of about 850 hours since April 2015. This includes a 200 hr BE/losing stretch where I went away from my game a bit.

Now I'm here. Don't know how much I'll post. Will prob lurk quite a bit.

ha! To be fair I didn't need to be drunk to buy in to NL200 or whatever with a $250 roll on a site. Just bored.
