# Glossary

The Glossary of The Hand Reading Workbook Vol 1 defines % Of Previous Hand as follows:

"This is a common calculation done throughout this workbook. It calculates how often a player continues with the range they got to this point with. As a simple example, say a player would open-raise 22+/AQ+ preflop (an 8% range). We 3bet and we think they would only continue with TT+/AK (a 3.5% range), that means they continued with 56% of the previous range"

My question is - does he meant 44% instead of 56%? - Basically, 3.5%/8% = 44%

Ouch...I murdered that one.

Yes, you are correct that 44% (3.5/8) is the correct answer.

Thank you very much!! I can't say how good this book is yet because I just started, but will definitely leave a feedback hopefully in a couple of weeks. Question: What would I get from the Hand reading Lab that is not in this workbook?

You're very welcome and enjoy it as you really get into it!

The Lab would give you the technical knowledge and would fill in the gaps (if you aren't confident in the a lot of the ranges you are assigning throughout the workbook, the Lab would be the next step...)
