Do it hand by hand or repeat one hand if it messed up?

after "finding my range" for six hands now, I more and more get a feeling that my play style seems to be a little bit messy. On some hands, I have the same ranges for flop and turn, on other I have empty rivers. I have no idea if that is a good or bad thing (or maybe neither nor), but I feel the urge to play around with some other ranges and lines.

On the other hand, rule one in the book says "Start with Hand 1, finish it, and then move on to Hand 2". But when is the hand finished? After having filled the template? Or after finding a line that seems to be fine?

OK, thanks for your reply. So when seeing a potential problem (like 100 percent CB for my PF range), I will try to extend the range in a (hopefully) somewhat clever way, for example that my continuation bet frequency becomes for example 60-70 percent or so.
