How is strength at casinos?

Hi
I experienced on PokerStars that even at the same stake and type of game, players vary from day to day. Today on wednesday, they are far more aggressive than on monday as far as i can see. They raise a lot more. On monday, they just folded... It's an example.

How is it at casinos? I think, it's pretty similar but the difference is more from day to day. On the weekend, there are rather recreational players who have got a free day and are mostly there to have fun in their free time. From monday to thursday, they work at their usual job and they don't have time for a casino. Then, there are more pros at the casions relative to that because this really is their working place... The field is much stronger then and 'the course' as Ed Miller would say is much more difficult. And I also read that players in Las Vegas are rather weak than the ones in Los Angeles for example. These are my thoughts.

How is it really?

I have a good example for the looseness I meant. This happened after my first post: https://www.boomplayer.com/22078653_ED08749B2C

I think, they wouldn't have played it close to that on monday but today they do. If boom doesn't show it, one of them had :4s :2s .

    Higher reg density during weekdays
Higher rec density during weekends and nights

But the strength in regs is vastly different between live and online

Well, I just learned that it is apparently full of people who are used to gambling for literally pennies, and can't even keep their assigned plastic disks in order or counted without software assistance!

So I advise trying it while this sick boom is still on! Gogogo!

To add to this: the regs that play during the daytime likely play a much different game than the regs that play at nighttime/weekends. The former are NITtier (and often good at it); the latter are LAGgier (and some are good and some are terrible at it). Likely more profit to be had weeknights/weekends but also more variance.

I loved that movie. Jack Nicholson was brilliant and the scene of the broken window with the Native American was moving.

Real nice ! Some of your Red Chip brethren are bravely expanding their poker horizons, and you want to take advantage of them !

I guess it is true there are no friends at the poker table.

Thats fine, I actually expected alot more people making fun of me for that thread tbh... My thread being used as an example to imply that we all suck is of poor taste IMO...

Live poker is going to be a long, tough slog for you if this little jest gets you hysterical.

You're right. I actually made that thread with a funny vibe and was brutally honest with how things shaked out. I cant turn around and give crap to people for laughing at it. Furthermore, if that wasnt a thread I had personally started, I would have probably laughed and agreed...

    My bad...

Returned to the Sands last night. 70 people on wait list. Mental note to phone ahead next time. This time around I successfully organized assigned units, tipped dealer, etc. $1K quad aces or better high hand jackpot so any two suited and connected played from all positions for any raise from all players. Strength at casinos is not strong.

New difficulty was stacking someone on their 4th buy in two seats to my right. Online you don't have to see the people you bust. They just vanish into nothing. This guy threw his cards, grabbed is coat and stormed off, then came back 30 minutes later to ask me if I was sure I had him covered. Said he thought he was losing his mind...

The high hand rolled over 3 times and was hit at midnight for $3K. 25% of the room got up and left almost immediately.

An important detail in understanding live, low limit player profiles.

Im fortunate, lots of players of all types on any given weekday. Tons of money on 1/2 and they dont play tight. 2/5 here is out of my league, table max buyin and they usually have stacks of 3k+. I still take a stab here and there at the end of the night. Im dumb- I should stab early.
