Local casino, regular Tournament. Final-Table bubble, two 5-handed tables, 10 players remain 3 paid. Villain is a regular LAG, plays most hands. The previous weekI had beat him in the heads-up to take the tournament. Villain and SB are the tournament big stacks. I have just lost a an 11BB all-in pot when my AA was cracked by a short-stack.

Fold,
Villain CO (66BB) limps
Fold
SB ( 71BB) limps
Hero BB 16BB with Js7d checks

pot (3BB)

Flop 5d, 6d, 8s
SB check
BB check
Villain CO bets 4.5BB
SB fold

Hero action?

Do you have any read on this overbet? Pretty strange. Against an unknown I might sigh fold here, usually when people overbet out of the blue like this on this kind of draw-y board, they aren't intending to fold to a flop raise. And we dont have odds to draw, unless maybe we want to rep diamonds when they come in.

I have seen him overbet like this with air and weak single pair type hands. I put him on a single pair pair type hand or two overs like KQ. I have played with this player many times.

ok, if you feel good about that read and feel he will fold those hands if shoved on, this is a slam dunk shoving spot.

Based on history/read of villains range it's a shove. However, does villain get sticky or are they capable of folding? I'm not thrilled getting snapped off here w/ KQ, etc.
