It's that time again! Our 3rd annual RCP meetup is happening in Vegas 2017 and we are looking forward to putting some faces to usernames (and of course hanging out with Red Chippers we've met throughout the years). Are you coming?

Here are the details as they currently stand:

Date: June 9th, 2017
Time: Starting at 11am
Where: Mirage Poker Room
What: Food and then playing some cards together. Expect some fun games and some RCP dollars to be thrown around.

If you can attend we just ask that you register for $5. This helps us gauge how many people are coming so that we get a properly sized venue for all the activities =)

Can't wait to see you there, and if you have any questions, just drop em in this thread.

I missed last years and am still kicking myself for it. Sounded amazing. Since I just had my second child and moving the family to Colorado....I would say my odds of coming this year are akin to hitting a gunshot on the river. But there's always a chance!!!!!!

Hope to make it. But if I don't, I'm penciling Vegas into my June 2018 calendar.

I'm scheduled to arrive in Vegas at about 2:30 on the 9th. I haven't been able to attend the meetup in the past so I'm curious how late this typically lasts. My current plan is to play in the Giant day one at 7:00 but could play another day one if the meetup is expected to go late. What is the expected time frame?

I'm in. I had a great time last year.

    Zac,
Are you going to post an itinerary of events? Are we going back to the Bicycle this year?

If we are going to do a RCP night at LATB, it will be priority to three people with rental cars and a total of nine people total.

That should solve the two major pains last year of the "party bus" being crowded and having to swap people out of the game.

I suspect doing a LATB night the night before the RCP gathering is unwise, so it would be some other random night. I will be organizing it separately at some point, but the LATB night is on the table.

@UrbanDiver - you realize that the Giant has multiple entry dates starting June 9th .... but Day 2 isn't until July 8 when the Main Event starts... (why they're doing this befuddles me!)

I will be there but my summer housing plans fell through. Contact me if you are looking to band together for long stay at WSOP.

These are going to be $0.10/$0.20 marshmallow games, right?

(I've been saving up my spare change in a Jar for such an occasion)

@UrbanDiver - The game was still swinging through the afternoon, if you get in at 2:30 you should be able to make it in depending on how long it takes you to get there.

@rexus - Looking forward to seeing you again. We'll post a full itinerary once we confirm the location... waiting on a better idea of headcount before locking it up.

@1BlackChip - Last year we played $1/$3 NL, and there was a lot of action. I'll play in the $0.10/$0.20 game if it forms though, LOL! I'm hardly rolled to play in a casino with some of the best players in Vegas. Survival is an accomplishment whenever I'm sitting at a table with the RCP crew... so far so good as long as we don't start playing PLO.

Looking forward to seeing all the rest of you there!

Just got the wife's approval and registered so I will be there for sure. I'm also very interested in LATB and could possibly do one of the rentals.

Is there a final day to sign up, I'm already doing the colossus weekend, and I won't know if I can swing a second weekend with work until mid May.

I would love to meet up, but I'm not coming out to the Series until June 23rd this year. Damn!

Bringing your wife with usually allows for a longer trip - although it lowers poker hours. Do an EV calc.

No final date - but the sooner the better so we can plan accordingly =)

I remember someone explained to me why 10 a.m. was a good idea, so I won't complain again and will put in an appearance.

Basically, we are starting early because we want to retire to a poker room after the event. They can reserve tables only so long into the afternoon.

What level of games are normally played at the RCP Las Vegas meet-ups?

Bringing the wife is a straight negative EV play. No further analysis need be done. However, she is giving me an early fathers day gift by making a solo trip to the WSOP.
